PROJECTS

Orphan Care International has currently under taken three projects: The Docsek Home, The Mazukuka Community, and The Lords Kingdom.

The Docsek Home is located in Mazabuka, Zambia, Africa. It was founded by Pastor Shern Kaumba and his wife Tabitha. The Docsek Home was created to give children who have been affected by HIV/AIDS a safe and loving home. The children receive health care and education in a nurturing environment. The Docsek home strives to meet all of the children’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

We chose the Docsek Home because of its location in Africa. Africa is a land that has suffered tremendously by the AIDS epidemic. Famine, disease, and poverty have affected the general population. Parents are dying leaving their children to fend for themselves.

In the past Orphan Care International has built a fence surrounding the home to protect the children from theft, vandalism, and crimes against children. A farm and Broiler Hens have also been purchased to provide food and income for the home.

Orphan Care Internationals goal is to make the Docsek Home self-sustainable, which will allow Orphan Care International to continue to build similar projects in the surrounding areas.

The Mazukuka Community is located in Zambia, Africa. Along with The Docsek Home, Orphan Care International has expanded to helping the community in which these orphans are returning to. In the past Orphan Care International has been able to donate clothing, blankets, school supplies, medical supplies, basic toiletries to hospital patients, and money to local schools to provide porridge for each child.

The Lords Kingdom is located in Les Cayes, Haiti. We are working together with Mike Fisher, President of Bethanie Evangelical Mission of Haiti, to build The Lords Kingdom. Orphan Care International strives to provide food to the people in the mountain areas, many of which have a lack of resources.
