We are happy to announce that our current team travel information is to Mazabuka, Zambia

Population: 11,668,000 (est. 2005)

Anticipated Expenses:

Estimated Airfare from San Francisco to Lusaka (round trip): $2300
Travel Insurance (Highly recommended) : N/A
Bus ride from Lusaka (landing point) to Mazabuka (project site) : $10.
Lodging in Mazabuka: $450 (approx 10 night stay including meals)
Entry Visa: $100 ( upon arrival at Lusaka airport)
Departure Tax: $20 (paid by credit card or cash when departing Zambia)
Passport: $97 (allow six weeks for processing )
Passport Photos: $10-$16 (Total of 2 needed)
Immunizations: $5.00-$300 (depending on which ones are needed)

To consider:
Hepatitis B $40 - Please note that the Hepatitis shots need to begin about 3 months ahead of travel!
Typhoid $50 a shot or $45 for pills
