Pastor Shern Kaumba and wife Tabitha from The Docsek Home project visited the United States. This was their very first time and their experience was priceless. They were able to see things that they do not have in Mazabuka, Africa. Orphan Care International was able to take them to their first dental appointment, where they got well needed work done. They also spoke at many locations about The Docsek Home.

August, 2009
Ground breaking for the new home was in August of 2009. This home will house up to 80 children. Since the ground breaking in August Orphan Care International has been able to donate funds for laying of the water pipes, foundation, installation of electricity, and brick walls. To keep costs down Orphan Care International has purchased a block making machine and are hoping to take a team to donate labor to help finish the walls.
