Thank you for visiting Orphan Care International’s website.

On behalf of Orphan Care International I would like to thank you for your interest in Orphan Care International and the children that we serve.

Orphan Care International is a volunteer run, non-profit 501(c)3 charitable corporation based in Chico, CA. Our purpose is helping orphans infected or affected by HIV/AIDS in third world countries. We are funded totally by donations of caring individuals. One hundred percent of the donations we receive go to the projects we support. All overhead expenses related to running the organization are covered independently. We have a goal to make all of our projects self-sustainable, enabling us to continue on to help other projects.

Currently, our main focus is the Docsek Children's Home located in Mazabuka, Zambia. The children of this orphanage have lost their parents to the AIDS epidemic. Docsek was created to give these children a safe, loving Christian home with a nurturing environment, health care, and quality education to the children who live there. We endeavor to release the children back to their communtiy as healthy, educated and well-adjusted adults who strive to make a contribution there.
